Victorian Burr Walnut Table
Victorian burr walnut tilt top centre table. Having a shaped top with detailed inlay. Standing on a quadruple pedestal with turned and fluted supports plus a distinct central finial. Exquisite acanthus leaf carving to the four sweeping legs with Greek key ends. Standing on original ceramic castors. Bears James Phillips & Sons, Union Street, Bristol label. Fine quality antique.
The Tranquil Passing of the Day
Late 19th Century gilt-framed oil on canvas signed by Frank Hider and entitled the ‘The Tranquil Passing of the Day’ inscribed verso. Frank Hider was a British artist born 1861 to 1933. Painter in oil and sometimes watercolour of coastal scenes and rural landscapes. The oils were often inscribed with the title on the reverse.
